La Vergne High Students Get Chance To Score Associate's Degree
A dual enrollment program for La Vergne High School's Class of 2020 will allow students to graduate high school with an associate's degree.

LA VERGNE, TN -- A new dual enrollment program at La Vergne High School will give students in the Class of 2020 the chance to graduate with a high school degree and an associate's degree from Motlow State Community College.
The program will be available to certain students in the Class of 2020 - this year's sophomores - and will allow them to earn 62 hours of dual-enrollment credit by taking 20 classes in their junior and senior years.
"This is an amazing opportunity for the students at LHS and for the La Vergne community, and we are excited to embark on this new adventure. Our hope is to continue to build our dual enrollment program so that we can increase our student's post-graduate success and continue to have a positive impact on our community," Assistant Principal Kyle Nix in a release.
