La Vergne Hopes to Start Work on Splash Pad by Year's End
An upcoming city council workshop will review plans for the addition to Veterans Memorial Park.
LA VERGNE, TN — After a series of meetings with neighboring communities, city officials and the La Vergne Parks Department are ready to move forward on plans for a splash pad.
The splash pad would be installed at Veterans Memorial Park, and would also include a pavilion featuring family bathrooms, along with a changing area and several interactive features. Renderings and potential plans for the project will be presented at an upcoming Board of Mayor and Alderman Workshop.
The city is working on finding grants or sponsorships to fund the project. The Parks Department hopes to begin work by year's end.
