La Vergne Library Closed Indefinitely
Bad news: Unexpected maintenance shutters the library. Good news: Fines are waived.
LA VERGNE, TN — The La Vergne Public Library is closed until further notice, the city announced Wednesday. "Unexpected maintenance" is to blame for the unexpected shutdown.
All scheduled programs are cancelled, but there is a glimmer of good news: all overdue book fines will be waived during the closure.
The city offered no timeline for reopening.
