LA VERGNE, TN — There will be strong rain chances every day this week, according to the National Weather Service forecast for La Vergne and Smyrna. Temperatures will stay unseasonably warm, raising the possibility of the occasional thunderstorm.
Tuesday: A 70 percent chance of showers and possibly thunderstorms, high of 68. Winds of 10 to 15 mph with gusts as high as 20 mph. A 40 percent chance of showers overnight, particularly before midnight, with a low around 46.
Wednesday: Mostly cloudy with a high of 57. Mostly cloudy in the evening with a 30 percent chance of showers after midnight, with a low of 45.

Thursday: A 60 percent chance of showers, otherwise cloudy with a high of 63. An 80 percent chance of showers and possibly a thunderstorm after sundown, a low of 54.
Friday: A 30 percent chance of rain, otherwise partly sunny, a high of 66. Mostly cloudy overnight with a low of 52.
