La Vergne's Trail Of Treats, Halloween Movie Scheduled
The popular Trail of Treats event is Saturday in La Vergne's Veterans Memorial Park.

LA VERGNE, TN — The Trail of Treats, one of La Vergne's most popular annual events, is set for Saturday afternoon and if the weather cooperates, the city expects thousands of children to attend.
Trail of Treats is scheduled for 2 to 4 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Park. To keep the Halloween fun going, the city is showing the movie "Monster House" drive-in style at 6:30 p.m.
“If the weather holds out, we will see thousands of children and their families during Trail of Treats,” said A.C. Davis, Parks & Recreation Director. “Children and adults and entire families – everyone dresses up. This is a very enjoyable event for our city and it’s a wonderful way for people who live and play in La Vergne to come together as a community.”

In addition to the candy trail — local organizations and businesses decorate booths and hand out candy to trick-or-treaters as they make their way through the park — there are also games and pumpkin bounce races.
The event is free.
