Mason Road In La Vergne Closed For 6 Months Starting May 7
A one-mile stretch of Mason Road will be closed to through traffic for six months starting May 7 for significant upgrades.

LA VERGNE, TN -- A one-mile stretch of Mason Road in La Vergne will be closed to through traffic for approximately six months starting May 7 as crews work on significant upgrades to the thoroughfare.
Mason will be closed from September Drive to Ingram Boulevard; Bain Drive will also be closed to through traffic.

Crews will straighten the road, add a center turn lane, add shoulders and install utilities for commercial warehouses. The project "comes at no cost to the city," officials say. Detours will be in place and work should be done by early November.
