Elizabeth B. Schneider

Elizabeth Belle Schneider, (nee Brown), age 89, formerly of Crest Hill, and a resident of Smyrna, TN for the last several years, passed away Monday, April 26, 2021 at TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center in Smyrna, TN.

Born February 19, 1932 in Prairie City, IL, she was the daughter of the late Leo Clifford and Margaret Barbara (Beer) Brown. Elizabeth was a homemaker who was previously employed by Best Foods in Summitt, IL for 26 years.

Surviving are her children, Jeffrey (Denise) Wilson of Smyrna, TN, C. Yvonne (Ferris) Stenemeyer of Missouri; and Margaret (Mike) Patrick of Joliet; 13 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, E. Wayne Wilson and Andres P. Schneider; two sons, Fred Wilson and David Wilson; and two daughters, Joyce Wicks and Pamela Dennison.

Visitation for Elizabeth Schneider will be held Saturday, May 1, 2021 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Road, (at Essington Road), Joliet. Cremation rites will be accorded following the visitation and interment in Woodlawn Memorial Park will be private.
