The Rutherford County Emergency Food Bank and Nourish Food Bank are joining forces.

SMYRNA, TN — Murfreesboro's Rutherford County Emergency Food Bank and Nourish Food Bank, which serves Smyrna, La Vergne and the northern part of the county, are merging, the non-profits announced Tuesday.
The merger will prevent the duplication of services with the hope it will create a more efficient method of service. The combined agencies will operate under the Nourish Food Bank name.
