Rutherford County Schools Closed Friday, Jan. 12

MURFREESBORO, TN — Rutherford County Schools will be closed Friday, January 12 due to the threat of winter weather, the district announced Thursday afternoon.

All extracurricular activities for Friday are cancelled as well.

Central and eastern portions of Middle Tennessee are under a winter weather advisory, with forecasters expecting up to two-tenth of an inch of ice and up to two inches of snow.
