Rutherford County Schools Closed Thursday, January 18
Rutherford County students get yet another day off Thursday, but the district hopes to resume class Friday.
MURFREESBORO, TN — The snow will keep Rutherford County students home for another day, as the district has canceled school for Thursday, January 18.
The district said they hope to open schools Friday given that high temperatures Thursday are expected to get above freezing, allowing for more extensive treatment of slick spots.
RCS will announce a decision about Friday some time Thursday.
