Smyrna Cracker Barrel Pickpockets Sought
A pair of pickpockets used a bump-and-grab to snatch a man's wallet at the Smyrna Cracker Barrel, police said.
SMYRNA, TN -- Two thieves distracted an 86-year-old man and stole his wallet at the Smyrna Cracker Barrel in February, police said.
Police said the suspects approached the man and began speaking to him. While one man engaged the man in conversation, the second bumped him and grabbed his wallet.
The suspects then went to Target and bought $1,000 in gift cards and then attempted to buy another $1,000 in gift cards, but were denied.
