Smyrna Utilities Installing Advanced Metering Infrastructure

Smyrna Utilities Department will begin installing Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) for water meters today, March 1, 2021, in the Jefferson Pike area. Residents in that area can expect to see Town of Smyrna vehicles and contractor vehicles, as well as personnel in safety vests. This installation will not cause a disruption in service, but we want to make sure impacted residents have an explanation of the activity in their neighborhoods. We will continue to share location information as this project continues.
