Rutherford County Schools spokesman James Evans told the Daily News Journal that Holland was suspended for two months without pay, but the charges were retired and the state did not seek a revocation of her teaching license, thus she was reassigned to the Smyrna elementary school where she works as an "overflow teacher."
"As an overflow teacher, it means she doesn’t have her own home class of students. Instead, she works daily in other teachers’ classrooms to help with smaller groups of students," Evans told the paper.
