368 Animals Rescued In Largest Hoarding Case In Nashville History

Rabbits, quail, pigeons and chickens were rescued in history-making seizure.

NASHVILLE, TN — In what is believed to be the largest hoarding case in Nashville history, 368 small animals were recovered Saturday by Metro Animal Care and Control.

MACC says 111 rabbits, 182 quail, 58 pigeons and 27 chickens were recovered.

The animals are being housed at the shelter as MACC works with national rescue groups to place the animals and help is needed with supplies. The shelter needs Timothy hay, fresh vegetables, rabbit pellets, towels and washcloths.
