Arnold's Country Kitchen has been serving traditional "Meat and Three" southern meals to the Nashville community for 30 plus years. They've got a rotating menu of daily specials where you can choose your meat and your three vegetables or sides to create your own custom southern feast. If you want fried chicken, you should visit Arnold's on Monday. The 'Meat and Three' option is $9.74, and you can bet you'll have some leftovers. They're open from Monday - Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.

Cochon Butcher is a New Orleans style butcher shop that recently opened another store in Nashville. Cochon infuses creole spices with classic southern recipes. Their menu includes small plates, like Hot Boudin which is Cajun rice and pork sausage for $6. Their daily specials rotate throughout the week, so if you want fried chicken, make sure you go on Sunday. They're open from 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. - 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. on Sunday.

Husk Nashville has a rotating menu of southern cuisine which they update online twice daily. In addition to altering their menu based on what ingredients are in season, 'Husk' also includes a complete list of their ingredients and their food suppliers for their patrons to see. Their fried chicken dish, the 'Field of Dreams Chicken' is served with squash casserole, sage and brown butter Jus for $29. Their hours are dependent upon the meal you want. For lunch, they're open from 11 a.m. -2 p.m. Monday - Friday, for brunch, they're open from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and for dinner, they're open from 5 p.m. - 10 p.m. Sunday - Thursday.

Big Al's Deli serves up Southern comfort food for breakfast and lunch with daily specials that rotate based on what's seasonal. The top-rated, most popular dish is their 'Hot Chicken," described as 'thick, bold and spicy hot.' Their menu includes more than just fried chicken. Big Al also has a chopped steak sandwich, chicken fingers and even a black bean burger for the vegetarians. They're open from 6 a.m. - 2 p.m. Monday - Friday and 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Saturday.

The Treehouse Nashville is the spot for late night locals craving a fried chicken snack. Their dinner menu is filled with elevated southern fare and some of their entrees have the option to be served 'family style,' like the Whole Roasted Quarter Chicken, served with charred broccoli, almonds, lemon chili and parsley oil. The late night menu is what they're known for; order the 'Treehouse Chicken' for $3. It's a single drumstick served with creme fraiche. The Treehouse is open from 6 p.m. - 1 a.m. Monday - Saturday.
