5 Nashville Restaurants Open on Thanksgiving

Scared you'll burn the Turkey? Let someone else do the cooking for you and your loved ones this Thanksgiving

NASHVILLE, TN - Does the thought of cooking a Thanksgiving meal for your family make the holiday seem daunting? Try having Thanksgiving at one of these Nashville spots, and take the stress out of Turkey Day.

  • 1808 Grille is serving a prefixed Thanksgiving Day menu for those not thrilled by the stress of cooking on turkey day. For $59, you'll get a basket of bread with apple cider honey and whipped butter to share, your choice of a gluten-free butternut squash bisque, spinach salad or a classic Caesar salad for a first course, and several entree options including short ribs, salmon, veggie pasta and the 1808 Roasted Turkey for an entree. The turkey is prepared with sage leaves and stuffed with sausage, and served with an orange-cranberry relish. For desert, there's a Mini Desert Tasting which includes a pumpkin cheesecake, brown butter pecan tart and a white chocolate bread pudding. 1808 has a sommelier on staff to pick the perfect wine to pair with your meal. They're open from 10:30 a.m. - midnight.

  • Sperry's Restaurant is the spot for steak lovers this Thanksgiving. They're open from 5 p.m. - 10 p.m. on Thursday and will be serving thick-cut steak, pan seared scallops, surf & turf options and grilled chicken dishes. Their menu is diverse, so it's a great place to bring the whole family-even if you've got some picky eaters. Sperry's received the 2015 Diners' Choice award from Open Table, so you won't need to worry about the quality of your meal or the service. You can make a reservation directly on their site.

  • Kitchen Notes is serving Thanksgiving Brunch from 9 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. and Thanksgiving Supper from 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. this holiday season. The brunch is $50 for adults and $21 for children and includes a roasted turkey carving station, a breakfast buffet with eggs made to order, a brunch buffet with maple glazed duck pastrami and baby kale salad and a chilled seafood display. The supper menu is a preset, three-course experience with dinner options like cider brined roast turkey, sea bass and roast prime rib.

  • Chauhan Ale and Masala House is a dining-out option for those not in the mood for turkey this Thanksgiving. Chauhan puts a southern twist on traditional Indian fare with dishes like black eyed peas tikki and tandoori chicken poutine. You can make a reservation on their website. They will be open from noon - 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving.

  • Monell's Dining and Catering is serving up a family-style Thanksgiving meal. It's first come, first serve, so make sure to get there early. They'll be serving up classics like roast turkey, ham, mashed potatoes and other family favorites. For desert, a pumpkin pie and caramel pudding. Monell's is open from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving.
