'A Christmas Story' - Nashville Repertory Theater is a sure fire way to get the whole family in the Christmas Spirit. Nashville Rep Theater is bringing the classic Christmas movie to life, live on stage. The performance is roughly 2 hours long, and recommended for children ages 8 and up. You can purchase tickets online ahead of time. Tickets range in price from $11 - $24. Nashville Rep Theater is encouraging audience members to bring gloves, hats and socks as donations as well. They will benefit The Ronald McDonald House Charity of Nashville.

Ice Skating - Ford Ice Center is one of Nashville's most recent holiday attractions. Take the whole family to the center for their Public Skate hours, you can plan ahead by looking at their schedule online. There is no need to bring your own skates, you can rent them at the rink for an additional $6. You can pick up some snacks from the concession stand and even take an ice skating lesson, as an individual or a group. They're open from 6 a.m. - 11 p.m.

Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum is a must-visit vacation spot to those spending the holiday season in Nashville. It's mission is "to collect, preserve, and interpret the evolving history and traditions of country music" and they do so through a variety of historical and musical exhibits. Country Music Hall of Fame is currently running several exhibits, including a retrospective on the life and times of Charlie Daniels and a yule tide Bob Dylan exhibit that explores his different seasonal songs. You can buy tickets online. Admission packages range in price from $18 - $40.
