5 Places to Watch the Election in Nashville

NASHVILLE, TN - While the election results are rolling in, where would you like to be? Dancing up a storm or sipping a mixed drink? Check out one of these 5 places and enjoy a great craft beer, maybe a free taco too.

• Basement East Bar is ringing in the election results with happy hour deals starting at 4 p.m. and lasting through 2 a.m. The election will be screened on a projector in the bar, so there's no need to leave your drink to find out who won. Their drink specials will hold true to their normal menu, with 2-4-1 beers, liquor specials on mixed drinks and more.

• Hops and Crafts is the place to be if you're looking for growler of craft beer. They will be screening election results starting at 6 p.m. Since they have drink specials on their "Tennessee Tuesdays," you can grab a brewed pint for 1/2 of the original cost. Hops and Crafts serves up popular local brews like East Nash Beer Works Miro Miel, Honky Tonk LeBrown and Wild Heaven Wise Blood. They're open indefinitely tonight.

• The End - Nashville is a popular venue for local Nashville bands to play. If you'd like to ring in the results with some live music in the background, you can listen to Those Manic Seas as they kick off the beginning of their tour. There's a $5 cover, and the show starts at 8 p.m. The election results will be screened on a projector in an adjacent room if the music isn't to your liking.

• Vanderbilt University is hosting a screening of the election results tonight starting at 7 p.m. The results will be screened in Kissam Classroom. Faculty , students and guests are welcome. Admission is free.

• The Springwater is hosting an election night special starting at 5 p.m. Springwater might not have high tech equipment to screen the election, but the results will be plastered on each of their mounted T.V's. In addition to their drink specials, there will be free tacos available until 11 p.m. Springwater has more of "dive bar" feel, so if that's what you're interested in, this is your spot.
