AR-15, Guns Seized After Stolen Truck Tip: Nashville Police

Metro Police seized four guns, including an AR-15, while investigating a stolen truck.

NASHVILLE, TN -- Metro Police seized four guns, including an AR-15, while investigating a tip about a stolen truck.

Wednesday night, someone called Metro Police, saying that Charles Rucker and Tavonte Thompson, both 20, were in a stolen truck. Officers found the stolen truck outside Rucker's Ireland Street apartment. During a subsequent search, they found marijuana and the quartet of guns inside the apartment.

Police said the men admitted to being in the truck, but denied knowing about the weapons. The guns had not been reported stolen.

Rucker and Thompson are charged with vehicle theft and marijuana possession.
