Arrest Made In Murder Of Man Found Along Rural Joelton Road
The man wanted for the murder of a 69-year-old Hendersonvillian found dead alongside a secluded road in December was arrested Monday.

NASHVILLE, TN -- The man wanted for the murder of a 69-year-old found days after Christmas alongside a secluded rural road in northern Davidson County was arrested Monday, according to Metro Police.
The Davidson County Grand Jury indicted Bobby Vernon Summers, 58, for first-degree murder and especially aggravated robbery in the death of James Kleinert, whose body was found lying next to Bear Hollow Road, a secluded creekside road in Joelton, the morning of Dec. 27, 2017.

Kleinert had been reported missing by his family, last seen by a friend at the Dollar General at Old Hickory Boulevard and Clarksville Pike around 5 p.m. Dec. 26. Kleinert had reportedly gone to the store to meet someone about purchasing a car.
Detectives believe Kleinert got into a minivan driven by Summers, who then robbed and murdered the man.

Summers was arrested near the Stewarts Ferry Pike exit off Interstate 40 by U.S. Marshals. In addition to the murder and robbery charges, he faces resisting arrest charges.
