Officials of the Metropolitan Action Commission have requested a meeting with members of the Metro Council Affordable Housing Committee to update the council on the progress of the HOPE Rental Assistance program.  The funding received by the city from the U.S. Department of the Treasury helps Davidson County residents impacted by COVID catch up on past due rental payments up to 12-months in arrears.

Dr. Cynthia Croom, Executive Director of Metro Action requested this meeting in light of concerns over misinformation. She will provide clarity on federal guidance that govern the HOPE program.
