Close Call For Clerk In West Nashville Gas Station Stick-Up

NASHVILLE, TN -- Two men robbed a White Bridge Road gas station early Thursday morning, with the stick-up ending after one of the men pulled the trigger, but the gun did not go off.

Metro Police were called to the Shell station on White Bridge near Knob Road just after midnight. The clerk told police two men, both masked and gloved, came into the store with handguns, demanding money. The clerk said one of the men pulled his trigger, though the gun did not fire.

The men, who are still at-large, drove off in a yellow Mustang.
