'Courier' Brought 25 Pounds Of Marijuana Through BNA: Police

A 27-year-old man admitted to being a marijuana courier after being arrested at Nashville International, police said.

NASHVILLE, TN -- A 27-year-old man admitted to working as a "marijuana courier" after 25 pounds of marijuana was found in his luggage at Nashville International Airport, according to Metro Police.

Chad Singkeo flew from Seattle to Nashville on Alaska Airlines. While the flight was inbound, Drug Enforcement Administration agents alerted airport police a passenger onboard could be carrying "contraband in his luggage," according to an arrest report.

Upon arrival at BNA, Singkeo agreed to let agents search his bags, where they reportedly found 25 pounds of pot in more than two dozen vacuum-sealed bags.
