'Hamilton' Hitting Nashville In 2019

The Broadway smash "Hamilton" will come to the Tennessee Performing Arts Center in 2019.

NASHVILLE, TN -- Andrew Jackson Hall at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center will be the room where it happens when Broadway smash hit "Hamilton" comes to Nashville next year.

The world was wide enough, finally, for the touring production of the Tony and Grammy winning musical to add the Music City to the schedule, though we don't know exactly when the hip-hop-tinged tale of the eponymous Founding Father and first Treasury Secretary is coming to town.

TPAC announced its 2018-19 Broadway line-up Tuesday with an assist from Chris De'Sean Lee, a Belmont University alum who played the duel...forgive me...the dual roles of Thomas Jefferson and the Marquis de Lafayette in the Chicago production of the show.

TPAC said the best way to guarantee a ticket to the high-demand show is to become a season ticket holder. Other highlights in 2018-19 include the return of "Book of Mormon," "Miss Saigon" and "The Phantom of the Opera," plus a production of "Hello, Dolly!" starring Broadway legend Betty Buckley.
