MACC Waives Adoption Fees For Mother's Day Weekend

Moms, dog moms and moms-to-be can make an fee-free adoption at Metro Animal Care and Control this weekend.

NASHVILLE, TN -- Metro Animal Care and Control is waiving adoption fees for all moms, mothers-to-be and pet moms this weekend, May 11-13.

MACC's shelter is at capacity, thus the usual $90 fee will be waived in an effort to find forever homes for the furry friends.

All adopted pets at MACC will come spayed or neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on all vaccinations.

Those unable to adopt can instead volunteer to foster a shelter animal for a weekend, with all vet care, medication and supplies provided by MACC.

MACC is open seven days-a-week for adoption from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., with special evening hours on Thursday until 6 p.m. MACC is located at 5125 Harding Place in Nashville.
