Man Drunk On Mouthwash Passes Out On Broadway: MNPD
Metro Police found a man passed out at the corner of Fourth and Broadway Tuesday, allegedly drunk on mouthwash.

NASHVILLE, TN -- Metro Police say a man drank so much mouthwash he passed out on Lower Broadway Thursday.
Police received reports of a man passed out at the corner of Fourth and Broadway Thursday afternoon and an MNPD bicycle officer discovered a 54-year-old man on the pavement having apparently fallen from a wheelchair.
According to a police report, the man could "barely talk or move," though eventually paramedics were able to "arouse him to the point he knew the day and month."

The officer noted that the man had bloodshot eyes and was slurring his speech.
"The defendant smelled of mouthwash which is a common beverage to become intoxicated," the arrest report says. "The defendant was clearly in no position to care for himself."

The man is charged with public intoxication and obstructing a passageway.
