Man Found Dead In 'Bloody' West Nashville Apartment
Police found a 30-year-old man's decomposing body inside a "bloody" apartment on Delaware Avenue.

NASHVILLE, TN -- The body of a 30-year-old man missing several days was found inside his "bloody" apartment Tuesday night, according to Metro Police.
Daniel Shields' boss asked police to perform a welfare check at Shields' apartment on Delaware Avenue in The Nations after he failed to show up to work for several days.
Officers found Shields' body decomposed and his apartment "bloody." A cause of death has not been determined.

Shields was last seen leaving Trax, an Ensley Boulevard bar, at 9:30 p.m. July 4. Investigators do not know if he left alone.
Missing from Shields' home was his SUV which police located at a Bell Road motel early Thursday.
