Man Urinates In Hotel Lobby, Says He Has HIV, Hepatitis: MNPD

Told he couldn't bring his cart of belongings with him to the restroom, a man instead urinated on a Nashville hotel lobby floor, police say.

NASHVILLE, TN -- Denied permission to take his cart of belongings with him to the restroom, a man opted instead to urinate on the floor of a downtown hotel lobby and then claimed he had HIV and hepatitis, police say.

Metro Police were called to the Homewood Suites on Church Street Monday where hotel employees said a man, identified as Kenneth Jones, came inside and asked to use the restroom. After an employee directed Jones to the facilities, he began to drag his wagon of belongings with him. The employee said he would have to leave his cart behind.

Jones then allegedly told the employee he had no intentions of abandoning his cart and said "I will go right here then." And then he did.
