Nashville Airport Evacuated Due To Suspicious Package
A K-9 officer alerted to a suspicious package in Concourse C at Nashville International Airport, prompting an evacuation.

NASHVILLE, TN -- A suspicious package prompted an evacuation at Nashville International Airport Wednesday morning.
Airport officials said a K-9 officer alerted authorities to a suspicious package in the pre-security area of Concourse C around 7:45 a.m. The partial evacuation of the airport began shortly thereafter and people were held until the all-clear was given around 9 a.m. Officials said a custodial worker saw an attended bag and alerted security; the dog's indication of danger was a "false positive," they said.
Travelers with flights later this morning are being told to anticipate significant delays.
