Nashville Area Sets Home Sales Price Record In March

As sales climb and inventory tightens, the Nashville area's median home price rose to new heights last month.

NASHVILLE, TN — With tightening inventory and brisk sales, the median sales price of a Nashville-area home is higher than ever, according to trade group Greater Nashville Realtors.

The median home sales price in the nine-county Nashville region was a record $273,500. The 3,420 sales in March marked an 8.9 percent increase over the same month last year and is the best-selling March since 2006.

Inventory continues to shrink, with the 7,276 available single-family units representing less than three months of supply.
