Temperatures won't crack 90 in the Midstate until Friday, as a mostly sunny and clear week is ahead.

NASHVILLE, TN -- Temperatures will moderate this week and the skies will dry out, according to the National Weather Service forecast for Nashville. The mercury isn't expected to touch 90 until Friday, which is when the first chance of rain - albeit a slight one - makes an appearance.

Monday: Sunny and more moderate temperatures, high of 83. Partly cloudy in the evening and pleasant, low of 61.

Tuesday: Sunny, high of 85. Mostly clear overnight, low of 63.

Wednesday: Sunny, high of 88. Mostly clear after sundown, low of 64.

Thursday: Sunny, high of 90. Partly cloudy in the evening, low of 67.
