Highs will stay in the mid-90s through the weekend across Middle Tennessee, with rain chances increasing Sunday.
NASHVILLE, TN -- It's July so it's going to be hot, according to the National Weather Service forecast for Nashville. Highs will be in the mid to upper 90s through the weekend, which should be mostly dry until a round of storms pushes through Sunday, which should make things (relatively) cooler for the workweek.
Friday: Sunny, high of 96 with heat indices as high as 99. Mostly clear in the evening, low of 75.
Saturday: Mostly sunny with a 20 percent chance of showers and storms, high of 96. Partly cloudy overnight with a 20 percent chance of showers and storms, low of 75.

Sunday: Partly sunny with a 50 percent chance of showers and storms, high of 93. Mostly cloudy after sundown with a 40 percent chance of showers and storms, low of 75.
