Nashville Area Weather Forecast: A Little Rain, A Little Relief

Hit and miss showers are likely through the weekend across Middle Tennessee, but watch that mercury fall.

NASHVILLE, TN — There are some hit-and-miss rain chances across Middle Tennessee for the weekend, according to the National Weather Service forecast for Nashville. After some upper 80s and low 90s, temperatures are forecast to drop into the upper 70s and low 80s in time for the work week.

Friday: An 80 percent chance of showers and storms, high of 88. Mostly cloudy overnight with a 20 percent chance of showers and storms before 1 a.m. and some patchy fog thereafter, low of 71.

Saturday: Mostly sunny with a 20 percent chance of showers and storms after 1 p.m., high of 91. Mostly cloudy in the evening with a 40 percent chance of showers and storms after 1 a.m., low of 71.

Sunday: Mostly sunny with a 20 percent chance of showers and storms before 1 p.m., high of 85. Mostly clear and a bit cooler after dark, low of 62.
