After a cool start Monday - and a chance of frost - things warm-up and mostly dry out midweek across Middle Tennessee.

NASHVILLE, TN -- It's a springy kind of week ahead for Middle Tennessee, according to the National Weather Service forecast for Nashville. A cool and windy Monday brings a chance of frost, but temperatures reach back up into the 70s for midweek and then fall slightly back into the 60s heading into the weekend.
Monday: Mostly cloudy, high of 51. Winds of 10 to 15 mph gusting to 25 mph. Mostly clear in the evening with patchy frost after 1 a.m., low of 37.
Tuesday: Frost before 8 a.m. and then sunny and much warmer, high of 70. Mostly clear overnight, low of 54.

Wednesday: Partly sunny with a 20 percent chance of showers, high of 73. Winds of 10 to 15 mph could gust to 20 mph. Partly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of showers after sundown, low of 48.
Thursday: Sunny and a bit cooler, high of 63. Mostly clear in the evening, low of 42.
