NASHVILLE, TN -- Plan for daily bouts of rain and storms this week, according to the National Weather Service forecast for Nashville. Subtropical storm Alberto will push into Middle Tennessee Tuesday and keep temperatures down but precipitation chances up.
Tuesday: Heavy showers and strong storms a virtual certainty as subtropical storm Alberto pushes through, high of 78. Winds of 10 to 15 mph could gust to 20 mph. An 80 percent chance of showers and storms overnight, low of 69. Gusty winds continue.
Wednesday: Mostly cloudy with a 70 percent chance of showers and storms, high of 85. Mostly cloudy after sundown with a 50 percent chance of showers and storms, low of 71.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy with a 50 percent chance of showers and storms, high of 89. Mostly cloudy in the evening, with a 50 percent chance of showers, low of 72.
Friday: Partly sunny with a 50 percent chance of showers, high of 89. Partly cloudy overnight with a 20 percent chance of showers, low of 70.
