Nashville Christmas Tree Recycling Returns
Starting Dec. 27, Christmas trees can be dropped off at 11 Metro Parks for recycling.

NASHVILLE, TN -- Once again, Metro Public Works and Metro Parks are teaming up to offer Davidson County residents a convenient and green way to dispose of Christmas trees.
Metro's Christmas Tree Recycling program begins Dec. 27 and will run through Feb. 16. Trees can be dropped off at designated areas at the following parks throughout the county:
- Cane Ridge Park
- Una Recreation Center
- Whitfield Park
- Cedar Hill Park
- Two Rivers Park
- Joelton Community Center
- Sevier Park
- Richland Park
- Elmington Park
- Edwin Warner Park
- Frederick Douglas Park
In addition, trees can be dropped off during business hours directly with Metro's contractor, Nature's Best Organics of Tennessee, located at 1511 Elm Hill Pike and 6401 Centennial Blvd. Those facilities are open 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

Trees must be cleaned of all ornaments, lights, wire, string and other decor and no artificial trees can be accepted.
Public Works will pick up the trees and take them to Nature's Best for chipping and mulching.
