Nashville Firefighter Missing After Car Sinks In Tennessee River
Crews are searching the Tennessee River in Humphreys County for a Nashville firefighter whose car drove into the water late Monday.
WAVERLY, TN -- A search is underway in rural Humphreys County as a Nashville firefighter is missing after his car submerged in the Tennessee River after driving off the road Monday.
The Humphreys County Sheriff’s Department said Jesse Reed and a woman were in a car that went off the road on Bluff Point Lane near Waverly and into the water.
The woman was able to escape but Reed could not be located.
