Nashville Gunfight Kills 1, Injures 2
A gunfight on Bellshire Terrace north of downtown ended with one man dead and two others hurt Tuesday night.
NASHVILLE, TN -- A gunfight in a street north of downtown killed a 26-year-old man Tuesday night, according to Metro Police.
Police say gunfire broke out in the 1300 block of Bellshirt Terrace around 8 p.m. One of the injured men drove himself to Skyline Medical Center and first responders found two others, one of whom was also taken to Skyline.
The third man was found lying in a driveway and rushed to Vanderbilt.

Henry Oscar Smith, 26, died at Skyline. Calvin Birdsong, 21, and Bruce Mallory, 25, remained hospitalized. Police said their injuries are not life-threatening.
Investigators say there were few witnesses to the shooting and detectives are still working out what happened, but they don't believe there are any other people involved beyond the three.
