Nashville Makes Christmas Tree Lighting Plans
Jason Isbell and Amanda Shires will headline the lighting of the city's official Christmas tree December 1 at Public Square Park.

NASHVILLE, TN — Alt-country power couple Jason Isbell and Amanda Shires will headline Nashville's Christmas tree lighting ceremony at Public Square Park December 1.
The event, scheduled for 6 to 7 p.m., will also include music by the East Magnet High School Choir, Thomas Edison Elementary School Choir, the Glencliff High School Mariachi Band, and the Genesis and New Testament Choirs from The Temple Church.
Santa Claus will also be on-hand and food will be available from a variety of local food trucks.

The event is free, but the city does ask for RSVPs.
