Nashville PD: Jamario Schields Arrested For June 2 Murder Of Joe Harris
The 34-year-old has been charged with criminal homicide in the fatal shooting inside an apartment at 1901 Dickerson Pike.

Officers today arrested Jamario Schields, 34, on a charge of criminal homicide for last Wednesday afternoon’s fatal shooting of Joe Harris, 51, inside an apartment at 1901 Dickerson Pike.

Schields was taken into custody at his Waterford Drive residence in Old Hickory. He is being held without bond pending a hearing.
The investigation shows that Schields and another man came to the location to buy drugs from Harris. An altercation took place during the transaction and Harris was fatally shot. The investigation continues in regard to the second suspect.
