Nashville Police Nab 2 Alleged Thieves In Back-To-Back Busts
Metro Police investigating one alleged robbery arrested a suspect in another before getting their man in the first.

NASHVILLE, TN -- In police work, as so often in life, being in the right place at the right time is as important as detailed investigative work.
According to Metro Police, a man wearing a hoodie and bandanna walked into a Jefferson Street Family Dollar just before 7 p.m. Tuesday and held the employees at gunpoint, demanding the cash from the register. After he got the cash, police say, he ran from the scene.

A Metro Police detective arrived quickly on the scene and sent out the alleged thief's description over the radio. Three officers in the area working another case spotted Robert Fleming in an alley near the store. Investigators say Fleming had a pistol matching the one from the Family Robbery stick-up along with a large amount of cash.
Meanwhile, those three officers also arrested 46-year-old James Holt, the suspect in their original case: a burglary at Atomic Resource Recovery on 14th Avenue North.
