Nashville Predators Playoff Ticket Prices Soar: Report
The average price for a ticket to the Preds' first-round series is 31 percent higher than last year.

NASHVILLE, TN -- As spring sets in, Nashville Predators playoff games are once again the hottest ticket in town.
The average price on the secondary market for the Preds' home games against the Colorado Avalanche is $381, according to TicketIQ, a 31 percent increase over last season's first-round series against the Chicago Blackhawks and the highest ever first-round price in Nashville.
It's also the fourth highest average ticket price for this season's first-round series, trailing only the two Canadian playoff teams - Toronto and Winnipeg - and the expansion Vegas Golden Knights.

The Predators set ticket-price records during the Stanley Cup Final last year, with an average price of $2,116 for the series-deciding Game 6.
Don't want to pay nearly $400 to see the Preds in action? The lowest get-in price, according to TicketIQ, is $170, a 37 percent increase over last year's opening round series. The team is also offering an extremely limited number of $15 day-of-game tickets through its verified fan program.

The Presidents' Trophy-winning Predators begin the playoffs at Bridgestone Arena Thursday with an 8:30 p.m. puck drop at Bridgestone Arena. Game 2 is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday.
