Nashville Sobriety Checkpoint Planned For Cinco De Mayo

Metro Police will run a sobriety checkpoint in West Nashville Saturday night.

NASHVILLE, TN -- Saturday could be a heavy day of revelry, even by Nashville standards. With the Kentucky Derby on in the afternoon and the Predators playing a playoff game with an 8:30 p.m. start, Cinco De Mayo could be raucous indeed.

Warning then to drivers heading west Saturday night, as Metro Police will be operating a sobriety checkpoint on Charlotte Avenue just east of White Bridge Road.
