Nashville's 5 Most Expensive Homes For Sale Right Now

Want to live in one of Davidson County's priciest homes? Check out Metro's five most expensive listings.

NASHVILLE — Ever wondered what the most valuable homes in Nashville are? There's lots of ways to judge such a thing — property assessments and sales price, for example. But there's only one way to join the exclusive club of owners of these highest of the high end and that's to buy. Here's the five most expensive single-family homes currently listed in Davidson County.

1. Perhaps it's not fair to include this one. For one thing, most of the $10.5 million the owners want are connected to the land: nearly 700 acres of Bells Bend. Further, there's not just one house on the property, there's four — and surely one of them has a bathroom, despite the listing's claim otherwise. Still, it's here for the taking: some of Metro's most gorgeous riverfront land, secluded and quiet, yet still a quick trip into town. Even quicker if they get Cleece's Ferry open again.

2. When it comes to country duo Big & Rich, well, they are. John Rich may have the more (in)famous home, but Big Kenny's is more expensive. Big Kenny designed and built the home he calls "Chateau di Amore" or the "University of Creativity" in 2007, but plans on making a move. Or at least he did when he listed the home nearly a year ago. He's also asking nearly twice what the home is appraised for, according to the latest figures from the Assessor of Property, which value the Green Hills uber-mansion at "just" $5.2 million, more or less.
