Patch's Nashville February Festival Guide

Nashville nerds, foodies and collectors have plenty to look forward to during February.

NASHVILLE, TN - Chow down on a bowl of local chili, find a unique item at the Nashville Flea Market's open air Spring festival or sample artisan chocolate while enjoying live music. Patch put together a list of Nashville's most anticipated festivals in February.

The Nashville Chili Festival is an annual celebration of one of America's heartiest dishes. The Chili festival allows local Nashville chefs to showcase their original chili recipes and get feedback from attendees. In addition to a chili tasting, the festival features live music, activities for children and a pepper eating contest. You can purchase tickets online and and ensure that you'll be noshing on Nashville's finest chili.

Nashville Flea Market - 'Spring In the Air' is a chance for Nashvillians to explore and purchase unique goods from across the country. 'Spring In the Air' will feature over 1200 vendors with more than 800 individual booths to welcome the new season. The Flea Market will be open all day and is free to attend, excluding a $5 parking fee.

Lighting 100's Chocolate Affair is the event for Nashville locals with a sweet tooth. Enjoy samples of artisan treats, both savory and sweet, provided by some of Nashville's most renown chocolatiers, bakers and candy connoisseurs. A few added bonus features of the Chocolate Affair include live music from Laura Mayo and Her Boyfriends and a chocolate fountain. You can purchase tickets to the Chocolate Affair online.

'Way Late Play Date' - Adventure Science Center is a great way for self-proclaimed members of Nashville's nerd community to gather and experiment with some of the latest (and most hilarious) advances in technology. Test out a Hovercraft Bed, sign up for 'Nerdy Talk Trivia,' or explore outer space during a planetarium presentation. You can purchase a ticket online today.
