NASHVILLE, TN - Whether you're a fan of traditional holiday pieces, like Handel's 'Messiah,' or a Capella style seasonal country songs, there's a concert in Nashville that's playing your favorite Christmas music in the style you prefer.
Blair Suzuki Strings Holiday Concert has become a seasonal tradition. Both Nashville families and locals enjoy holiday sonatas performed by fifty students studying cello and violin at the Blair School of Music. The Blair Cello Choir and the Violin Performing Group will be playing songs by Bach, Handel and Vivaldi. The ensembles are directed by Carol Smith and the concert will be held at the Frist Center for Visual Art.

Kenny G will be performing a live holiday concert at the historic Ryman Auditorium. This Grammy award winning saxophonist will be serenading the audience on his trusty soprano saxophone. Handel's Messiah is a holiday tradition for those who love this dramatic and passionate choral piece. It will be performed by the Nashville Symphony and the Nashville Symphony Chorus. Handel's 'Messiah' features the renown 'Hallelujah Chorus' and will be brought to life by 100 choristers, 30 musicians, 4 soloists and conducted by Christopher Warren-Green. Home Free - A Christmas Country Tour is a country a Capella ensemble that performs pop hits as well as traditional holiday tunes. Home Free is a 5-man band and the 2013 winners of NBC's reality show "Sing Off." They're beloved for their quick-witted stage banter as well as their tight vocal harmonies. Expect country classics like Johnny Cash's "Ring of Fire" and no-instrument rendition of Shakira's hit song "Try Everything." You can purchase tickets online.

R Kelly 12 Nights of Christmas Tour is bringing his Christmas tour to the Bridgestone Arena this holiday season. The tour is intended to promote the release of his most recent album, entitled (yep, you guessed it) '12 Nights of Christmas.' It's worth mentioning that this concert is probably not your best bet if you're looking for a show that's family-friendly. You can purchase tickets to R Kelly's tour online.
