Post Office Sets Christmas Shipping Deadlines
Time is running out to get those Christmas gifts in the mail in time for the holiday.

NASHVILLE, TN -- Christmas is rapidly approaching, which means its time to start preparing for the annual trip to the post office to get those packages in the mail in time for the big day. The schedule is a bit different this year. With Christmas Eve falling on Sunday, the last day of regular service will be Dec. 23.
In the two weeks before Christmas, the U.S. Postal Service estimates it will deliver 200 million packages weekly, far and away the busiest time of the year.
Here are the key dates to remember in the run-up to Christmas to guarantee delivery by Christmas Day:

- December 16 - First Class Packages
- December 19 - First Class Mail (Including Greeting Cards)
- December 20 - Priority Mail
- December 22 - Priority Mail Express
