Property Assessor Call Center Open To Schedule Formal Appeals In Nashville

The deadline to schedule an appeal to the Board of Equalization will be June 12.

Vivian Wilhoite, Metropolitan Nashville and Davidson County Assessor of Property, is notifying residential and commercial property owners that the time to file a 2020 Formal Appeal of your property assessment is now open.

“This is an annual opportunity for property owners to request a Formal Appeal of their property values and/or classification to the independent board of the Metropolitan Board of Equalization (MBOE) or its Hearing Officers.” said Assessor Wilhoite. “If the MBOE’s decision results in a change in value, it will be effective for January 1, 2020.”

To schedule a Formal Appeal, please call the Office of Assessments’ Call Center at 615-862-6059. The Call Center will be open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The deadline to schedule an appeal to the Board of Equalization will be June 12, 2020 at 4 p.m.
