Rayna James' 'Nashville' House For Sale For $18M
WOW House: The house that serves as the fictional home for Connie Britton's Rayna James on CMT's drama "Nashville" is on the market.
NASHVILLE, TN -- The very real Nashville house of the very fictional Rayna James of "Nashville" is for sale once again.
The 20,533 square-foot home on Page Road near Warner Parks has served as the home of Connie Britton's country-music star character on the ABC and CMT series "Nashville" since its 2012 premiere. It's been on and off the market three times since then, always at the same price: one dollar under $18 million.
In addition to the features made famous on TV — for example, the kitchen, heavy in copper and stone with a bar around which Rayna, her daughters and her various love interests contend with their dramas — the home has a number of beautiful details: antique flooring, one-of-a-kind artifacts (including a mantle that came from a former estate of fashion designer Gianni Versace), and a floating spiral staircase regarded as one of the grandest in the city. The master suite has his and her "water closets," according to the home's web site. And below it all: a 3,000-bottle wine cellar with tasting room and "lighted display niches."
