Tennessee Gas Prices Surge Before Memorial Day
Memorial Day Weekend gas prices in Tennessee are on pace to be the highest since 2014.

NASHVILLE, TN -- Gas prices across Tennessee continue to climb ahead of the unofficial start of summer and drivers can expect to pay more at the pump this weekend than any Memorial Day weekend since 2014, according to AAA.
The auto club reports that the average gas price in Tennessee Monday was $2.67, up a nickel from last week and 12 cents higher than last month.

The average price for a gallon of regular in the Nashville region is $2.71, up 6 cents from last week. In Tennessee, the lowest average prices are in Chattanooga ($2.60) and the highest in Jackson ($2.72).
In the Nashville area, the lowest prices can be found in the counties northwest of the city, with Cheatham, Dickson and Montgomery county reporting the lowest figures.
